NFL combine invitee: Jonathan Ledbetter, DE, Georgia (Tucker)

Twenty-five former Georgia high school football players were invited to the NFL scouting combine to be held Tuesday through Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Georgia’s representation is tied for third-most with California and trails Florida (51) and Texas (31), according to NFL.com. Ohio is next with 20. There are 338 invitees overall.
Today, we’ll take a look at Georgia defensive end Jonathan Ledbetter:
Jonathan Ledbetter, 6-4, 280, DE, Georgia, Tucker. After a bumpy start to his career in Athens he turned things around and was named a permanent captain as a senior. Ledbetter started 13 of 14 games at defensive end and had 56 total tackles, tops among down linemen and fourth-best among all defenders last season. He ranked second on the team in tackles for loss as a senior, with 6.5. He's extremely athletic for his size. NFLDraftscout.com has projected that Ledbetter will be selected in the fifth or sixth round.
