Twenty-five former Georgia high school football players have been invited to the scouting combine to be held Feb. 26-March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Georgia’s representation is tied for third most with California and trails Florida (51) and Texas (31), according to Ohio is next with 20. There are 338 invitees overall.

Today, we’ll take a look at Clemson’s Austin Bryant, who played at Thomas County Central:

Austin Bryant, Clemson, 6-6, 280. DE, Thomas County Central, Pavo: Played in Clemson's defensive line rotation for his entire career. He finished with 153 tackles, 35 tackles for losses, 20 sacks, 32 quarterback pressures in 1,807 defensive snaps over 51 career games. He made 29 starts. "Very proud of him," Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables told The State (Columbia, S.C.) recently. "He's the quietest of that group, but he's had a great year and takes a back seat to nobody. He's been a great leader," Venables said. "He's ultra successful. He's worked incredibly hard along the way. He may not be talked about outwardly outside of our football building, but inside we have great appreciation for Austin and all he's done."
