NFL combine invitee: Bryson Allen-Williams, LB, South Carolina (Cedar Grove)

Twenty-five former Georgia high school football players have been invited to the scouting combine to be held Feb. 26-March 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Georgia’s representation is tied for third most with California and trails Florida (51) and Texas (31), according to Ohio is next with 20. There are 338 invitees overall.

Today, we’ll take a look at South Carolina’s Bryson Allen-Williams, who played at Cedar Grove:

Bryson Allen-Williams, South Carolina, 6-foot-1, 230 pounds, LB, Cedar Grove, Ellenwood. He was recruited by Steve Spurrier’s staff and started right away. A string of injuries stunted his growth. He finished with 176 tackles, 25 tackles for losses, 6-5 sacks and four interceptions over 43 games. He suffered an ankle injury last season against Mississippi. He was lost for the 2017 season with a shoulder injury suffered against Kentucky in the third game of the season. He came back to play in the Belk Bowl to close out his career. He was a leader off the field as he served as the vice chair of the 2018 SEC football leadership council. He graduated in May of 2018.
