Julio Jones held out of practice today

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, who has a hamstring injury, was held out of practice on Thursday.

He has 34 catches for 440 yards and four touchdowns.

Running back Tevin Coleman (fractured rib), returner Devin Hester (turf toe) and tight end Jacob Tamme (concussion).

“He’s getting closer, but he’s not there year,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said.

Hester participated in the walk-through and dressed out for practice.

Jones is on pace for a 181-catch, 2,347-yard and 21-touchdown season, which would shatter records for catches and yards.

Indianapolis Marvin Harris caught 143 passes in 2002 and holds that single season mark.

Detroit Calvin Johnson set the receiving years single-season mark with 1,964 in 2012.

Randy Moss, with New England in 2007, set the most touchdowns receiving in a single-season mark with 23.
