Middle linebacker Deion Jones chided fellow linebacker De’Vondre Campbell for not scoring a touchdown after his spectacular interception against Miami.

“He’s been able to see everything,” Jones said about Campbell, who had offseason Lasix surgery. “We call him ‘New Vision.’ It was a great play. I told him if he didn’t wear a size 14 (shoe) he would have stayed in bounds.”

The Falcons have asked Jones to be more vocal.  Jones said the communications went well against the Dolphins.

“I was communicating, giving out alerts, lining up and getting everybody lined up,” Jones said. “You kind of got to yell,” Jones said. “You just want to make sure that every one hears you and everyone is on the same page.”
