Godfrey pulled from action with cut to forehead

Aug 8, 2015

Falcons safety Charles Godfrey suffered a cut on his forehead and nose was pulled out of the Friday Night Lights practice at Buford High School.

“Charles Godfrey left tonight,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. “He had a cut on his forehead and nose. He’ll be back. It was just precautionary keeping him out.”

Quinn also said that he expects linebacker Brooks Reed to return to individual drills next week and stated that he’d likely be back before running backs Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman, who suffered hamstring injuries on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
