The Falcons will select SMU wide receiver Courtland Sutton with the 24th pick of the 2018 draft, according to a "way-too-early" mock draft from ESPN's Todd McShay.
At 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, Sutton would make for an imposing sidekick to star wideout Julio Jones. As a junior, Sutton had 76 catches for 1,246 yards (16.4 average) and 10 touchdowns.
Also notable in McShay’s list: LSU defensive end and former Hapeville Charter Academy star Arden Key, going to Tampa Bay with the 11th pick, and North Carolina State defensive end and former Hillgrove High School standout Bradley Chubb, taken by Detroit at No. 19.
The 2018 NFL Draft will be held April 26-28 at a location that is still to be determined.
