The Falcons signed inside linebackers Stephone Anthony and Richie Brown on Friday, the team announced.

To make room for Anthony and Brown on the roster, the Falcons released offensive lineman Lanard Bonner and placed defensive tackle Michael Bennett (broken ankle) on injured reserve.

Anthony, 26, who’s 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, was drafted in the first round of the 2015 draft by New Orleans.

He started all 16 games as a rookie before falling out of favor. He played the past two seasons with the Dolphins.

Brown, who played at Mississippi State, has spent time with Tampa Bay and Carolina. He did a stint on the Falcons’ practice squad last year.

Bonner, who played at Arkansas State, was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2019.
