Here’s what Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had to say about the Texans.

Q: What do you see from J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus on film?

A: "He's playing really well. They're both really physical. I think they play with great effort, they get a lot of attempts at rips around the passer. They're very good at getting the ball out in the pocket, causing sack fumbles. We've got to do a great job in terms of pass protection. We've got to do a great job in terms of ball security within the pocket and be aware of where they're at. They both play with great effort and they're very physical."

Q: How’s cornerback Bradley Roby playing?

A: "Solid. Solid at that cornerback position, very athletic. He looks like he's transitioned into the scheme really well. I've been impressed with what he's done through the first couple of games."

Q: How’s Houston’s safety group playing?

A: "They play down in the box quite a bit. They're physical. They ask those guys to get involved in the run game, which obviously would set up good things in the pass game. You never know, when you've got Julio (Jones) and guys like that, sometimes you see different things."
