The battle continued.

With no real clarity.

Falcons offensive linemen Ben Garland and Wes Schweitzer alternated in Thursday’s 23-20 exhibition loss to the Dolphins as they continued to fight for the starting right guard spot.

“Here’s what I was happy about,” coach Dan Quinn said Friday. “They had some matchups against who we think is a good defensive tackle in (Ndamukong) Suh. So, I was happy to see them stay in there battling.”

Neither player took control of the spot.

“We still are going to take all the time we need,” Quinn said.
