The Atlanta Dream announced Wednesday rookie forward Mackenzie Engram was waived.

A graduate of Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Engram was drafted by the Dream in the third round of the 2018 WNBA Draft in April.

The 6-foot-2 forward averaged .471 from the field and .356 beyond the arc in her senior season at Georgia. Engram also averaged 12.9 points and seven rebounds last season.

The team also announced rookie forward Adaora Elonu was waived, leaving 12 players on the Dream roster.

The Dream open their 2018 season Sunday at the Dallas Wings at 3 p.m . ET. The game can be watched live on Twitter as part of a deal between the WNBA and the social media site to stream 20 regular season games for the second-consecutive year.
