Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer will visit the College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta on Sunday for presentation of the MacArthur Bowl to the Buckeyes in recognition of their national championship last season.

The ceremony is scheduled for noon Sunday on the Hall of Fame’s indoor playing field. National Football Foundation president and CEO Steve Hatchell will make the presentation to Meyer.

The event is open to the public, with Hall of Fame admission tickets required.

The MacArthur Bowl trophy — a replica of a stadium — has been presented annually by the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame to each season’s top team since 1959. The trophy, on which the name of each season’s champion is added, will remain on display at the Hall of Fame.
