Former UGA running back Sony Michel was selected by the New England Patriots with the 31st pick in the 2018 NFL draft Thursday.

Michel was the third UGA player drafted in the first round. Roquan Smith was taken 8th overall by the Chicago Bears and Isaiah Wynn was taken No. 23 overall by the Patriots.
