Georgia Tech added the third member of its 2020 recruiting class with an announcement Thursday from Grayson High wide receiver Ryan King that he has committed to play for the Yellow Jackets.
King made the announcement on his Twitter account. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 203 pounds, King is rated a three-star prospect, the No. 48 player in the state among rising seniors and the No. 84 wide receiver.
King reported his scholarship offer from Tech on March 3. He had also reported offers from Texas, LSU, North Carolina, Baylor and Vanderbilt, among others.
He is the first wide receiver to commit to Tech for 2020. It’s the second consecutive year that a Grayson player has committed to Tech. Jeremiah Smith, a safety from the Gwinnett County school, was part of the 2019 signing class.
