Georgia Tech’s injured trio – defensive lineman Patrick Gamble (left leg), B-back Zach Laskey (shoulder) and A-back Charles Perkins (knee) – remained sidelined for Tuesday’s practice. Additionally, linebacker P.J. Davis and defensive tackle Shawn Green were also in red jerseys, meaning they were held out of practice. Their injuries are unspecified.

Tuesday at his weekly news conference, coach Paul Johnson did not have an update on their potential availability beyond saying “there’s always a chance.” He did say Monday that, besides Gamble, Laskey and Perkins, he didn’t think there was anyone else that might be kept out of Saturday’s game against N.C. State due to injury.

Gamble earned positive reviews after being moved from defensive tackle to end for Saturday’s win over Virginia and making his first career start. Defensive line coach Mike Pelton said that, with Gamble out of practice, Kyle Travis is back in his starting spot but that “we’re giving some guys some chances” to earn the start.
