The possibility that Georgia State’s Ryan Harrow may receive more punishment from the Sun Belt Conference is “under review,” commissioner Karl Benson said in an email on Monday.

Harrow, a senior, received his seventh technical this season in Saturday’s win over Arkansas State. The technical occurred in the second half and seemed to happen because Harrow and an Arkansas State player were talking to each other. Harrow was playing defense when the technical was called. Georgia State coach Ron Hunter said he was never given a reason for the call by the game’s officials.

Harrow was suspended by Georgia State for one game earlier this season after picking up his sixth technical.

The Panthers play at Georgia Southern on Thursday in a first-place showdown in the conference. The Eagles lead the Panthers by one-half game.

The Sun Belt doesn’t have a rule that dictates punishment per a certain number of technical fouls. However, it does have rules about sportsmanship that, if deemed to be violated, can result in punishment.
