The Georgia football team’s routine is different this week with UGA not holding classes because of Thanksgiving break.
That means the NCAA’s 20-hour weekly limit on team activities isn’t in force as the Bulldogs prepare for Saturday’s game against Georgia Tech.
“It’s helpful to us in that we don’t have any limitations as to how much practice time or how much meeting time, walk-throughs, whatever,” Georgia coach Mark Richt said. “That’s good, but we just have to make sure we’re wise and not wearing them out.”
Richt’s plan is to hold practices earlier in the day “when everybody is a bit more fresh,” he said.
