Kennesaw State will open spring football practice Monday

Kennesaw State’s football team will hold its first spring practice of the year on Monday.

The Owls went 6-5 in their inaugural season.

Practices are scheduled to be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m.

There will be a practice at 9 a.m. on March 5 and the spring game will be held March 26 at noon at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

The Owls will open the season hosting East Tennessee State on Sept. 3 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

Sept 3. vs. East Tennessee State. The Owls defeated ETSU 56-16 last season.

Sept. 10 vs. Point. The Owls defeated the Skyhawks 56-17 last season.

Sept 24 at Duquesne

Oct. 8 vs. Missouri S&T

Oct. 15 vs. Liberty*. The Owls were beaten by the Flames 45-35 last season.

Oct. 22 at Gardner-Webb*. The Owls defeated the Bulldogs 12-7 last season.

Oct. 29 at Monmouth*. The Owls defeated the Hawks 23-13 last season.

Nov. 5 vs. Clark Atlanta

Nov. 12 vs. Presbyterian*. The Owls were beaten by Presbyterian 14-6 last season.

Nov. 19 at Charleston Southern*. The Owls were beaten by the Bucs 28-14 last season.
