A lottery will be used to distribute football tickets to Kennesaw State students for the upcoming inaugural season.

The lottery – which will reset after each game – will be weighted: seniors will have priority over juniors, who will have priority over sophomores, etc. Only full-time students in the fall of 2015 who have paid athletic fees are eligible for the lottery. Students must register for each lottery.

A student committee helped design the lottery system, under the advisement of university president Dr. Daniel Papp’s cabinet, members of the faculty and athletic administration.

A Kennesaw State spokesman said it hasn’t been decided how many student tickets will be available for each game. Fifth Third Bank Stadium has a capacity of 8,300. The university has received deposits for more than 4,000 season tickets.
