Kennesaw State’s football team received three votes in the STATS FCS preseason poll released on Monday.
The Owls went 6-5 during their inaugural season last year. They will open this season hosting East Tennesse State on Sept. 3 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
The team, which returns 20 starters, was picked to finish third the Big South Conference preseason poll.
Three of Kennesaw State’s opponents, Charleston Southern, Duquesne and Liberty, also received votes.
