There was a familiar face to supporters of the Georgia Bulldogs at Georgia State’s first spring practice on Thursday.

Former Bulldogs quarterback Hutson Mason is interning in the Panthers’ football offices, working with the director of operations and those in player development.

Mason, a former Lassiter High standout, started 13 games as a senior in Athens in 2014, passing for 2,168 yards and 21 touchdowns. He signed with the Redskins as undrafted rookie free agent, but didn’t make the team. He coached with Colquitt County last year.
