Georgia-Vandy football game on CBS

DESTIN, Fla. — Georgia's Sept. 12 football game at Vanderbilt will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised on CBS, it was announced Thursday.

CBS also said it will televise the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game between Auburn and Louisville in the Georgia Dome on Sept. 5 and the Auburn at LSU game on Sept. 19. Both of those games will start at 3:30 p.m.

“The SEC on CBS” has been college football’s highest-rated regular-season package on any network for the past six seasons. This season’s package will feature 17 games, including two doubleheaders and the SEC Championship game at the Georgia Dome on Dec. 5. Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson remain CBS’ lead college football broadcast team, along with reporter Allie LaForce.
