Georgia Tech has made its hire of Memphis coach Josh Pastner official, introducing him to local media Friday afternoon.

The hire was reported Friday morning by the AJC.

The hire completes Athletic Director Mike Bobinski’s search for Tech’s fifth coach in its ACC era and the successor to coach Brian Gregory, who was fired two weeks ago after five seasons.
