Georgia Tech secured what may be the last commitment prior to the start of the early signing period on Wednesday, receiving the pledge of offensive lineman Zakk McKeehan of West Feliciana High School in Francisville, La.

McKeehan is a two-way lineman who had previously been committed to Louisiana-Monroe. McKeehan tweeted his decision Tuesday. McKeehan is 6-foot-3 and 287 pounds. He is one of three offensive linemen in the 19-player class. The Jackets signed five last season.

McKeehan, a three-star prospect (247 Sports), is expected to sign his letter of intent Wednesday.

Upon his signing, Tech will have brought in players from the state of Louisiana for four consecutive years: Christian Campbell in 2015, Jahaziel Lee in 2016 and Tre Swilling and Bruce Jordan-Swilling in 2017.
