Georgia State, Under Armour reach uniform deal

Under Armour will become Georgia State’s apparel provider starting July 1, 2017. Georgia State’s athletic assocation announced the partnership on Monday.
It is a multi-year agreement. Financial terms weren’t disclosed. Nike is current outfitter for Georgia State’s teams.
Among Under Armour’s clients are Golden State’s Stephen Curry, golf’s Jordan Spieth, Carolina quarterback Cam Newton and Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw.
Among the dozens of colleges Under Armour has agreements with are Auburn, Notre Dame, Navy, Old Dominion, Coastal Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina and Texas A&M.
Georgia State’s bookstore will have some new Under Armour items for sale ahead of the Oct. 22 game against Tennessee-Martin.
