Georgia coach Kirby Smart ranks fifth in total compensation for college football coaches in the country, according to a study by USA Today.

Smart, in his fourth season as Bulldogs' head coach, has a 2019 total compensation figure of $6.9 million according to the publication's annual review of coaches' compensation. Smart has a 38-11 record as Georgia's coach, including 6-1 this season, with two SEC East titles and the 2017 conference championship.

Here are the top four on the list:

- Dabo Swinney, Clemson: $9.3 million

- Nick Saban, Alabama: $8.9 million

- Jim Harbaugh, Michigan: $7.5 million

- Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M: $7.5 million
