Georgia No. 3 in first regular-season Associated Press poll
The Georgia Bulldogs landed in the No. 3 spot in the first 2019 regular-season Associated Press college football poll released Tuesday.
The top five teams in the preseason poll won their openers and maintained their spots in Tuesday’s poll – Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State. LSU and Michigan maintained their rankings at No. 6 and No. 7 with Notre Dame, Texas and Auburn rounding out the top 10.
Georgia (1-0, 1-0 SEC) defeated Vanderbilt 30-6 in Nashville Aug. 31 will host Murray State Saturday in its home opener in Athens.
