Four-star guard Donavaughn Campbell is expected to make his official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend.

Campbell, the 6-foot-4, 347-pound senior from Ponchatoula, La., committed to LSU on Jan. 8, but the Yellow Jackets have some momentum that may influence Campbell’s final decision.

For one, Jahaziel Lee, former teammate of Campbell at Ponchatoula High School, committed to Tech on Sunday after being committed to Louisiana-Lafayette since June. Lee, a two-star lineman, committed to the Jackets after his official visit over the weekend.

The Jackets also flipped former Vanderbilt commit Brandon Adams over the weekend. Adams, a three-star defensive tackle from Brentwood, Tenn., had his official visit to Tech on Jan. 15 and an official visit to Vanderbilt on Jan. 22.

Another potential draw for Campbell is his older brother quarterback Christian Campbell who just completed his first year with the Jackets. Christian Campbell, a former quarterback at Ponchatoula High, spent his first season as a redshirt freshman.
