Former Georgia Tech star B-back Dedrick Mills has signed to play at Nebraska this fall.

Mills spent the last two seasons at Garden City (Kan.) Community College after being dismissed from the Jackets his sophomore season for a violation of athletic-department rules in August 2017.

He earned MVP honors of the TaxSlayer Bowl his freshman season.

The 5-foot-11, 215-pound running back from Waycross, Ga., committed to the Huskers last fall. He rushed for 1,358 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Broncbusters last season. He missed part of the 2017 season with a broken collarbone.
