Hoover, Ala. - Jacob Park, who transferred out of Georgia last month, will seek to rejuvenate his football career at a junior college.

Park is going to Navarro Junior College in Texas, his father Adam said on Monday. The quarterback will play there this season and then hope to transfer to a four-year school in December.

“He will be the starter (at Navarro) and that’s all he wanted, was to play,” Adam Park said via text message.

Jacob Park redshirted last season, where he earned praise on Georgia’s scout team, and before spring practice the coaches said it would be a three-man race. But Brice Ramsey and Faton Bauta got the majority of first-team snaps in Georgia’s three scrimmages.

Greyson Lambert, another quarterback, decided last month to transfer into Georgia from Virginia. A few days later Park packed up and left Athens.
