Elysee Mbem-Bosse, a linebacker from Cedar Grove, is all about the opportunity.

He’s played football for only three seasons and cast his lot with Michigan and coach Jim Harbaugh.

Three things to know about Mbem-Bosse:

1. Athletic ability wins: Harbaugh landed a high-level athlete with a ton of upside in Mbem-Bosse. A raw talent from Cameroon, Mbem-Bosse has played only three years of football. He committed to Harbaugh and the Wolverines last week, choosing Michigan over North Carolina State, Oklahoma, Alabama and a host of big-name schools.

2. Playing early? Cedar Grove coach Jermaine Smith said Mbem-Bosse saw an opportunity to get on the field early at Michigan and was attracted to Harbaugh's enthusiastic ways.

3. Numbers of note: Mbem-Bosse led Cedar Grove with 107 tackles and seven sacks during his senior season.
