Kennesaw State football coach Brian Bohannon has begun filling out his staff with his first hire.

Liam Klein, a member of Georgia Tech’s staff since 2003, posted on Facebook on Monday that he has resigned to accept a job at Kennesaw State. Bohannon and Klein worked together at Tech, where Bohannon was the quarterbacks and B-backs coach before accepting the Kennesaw State job last month.

Klein’s post: “Would like to thank all the people who made my 10 years at Georgia Tech so special. Truly an awesome experience. Off to the new challenge of starting a program at Kennesaw State University w/ Brian Bohannon! Go Owls!!!”

Klein was most recently director of player personnel at Tech and was unofficially recruiting coordinator. He is a graduate of Monmouth.

Before joining Tech, Klein coached outside linebackers and safeties for Harvard in 2002. He was the defensive line coach for Lafayette College in 2001.
