Although Bruce Jordan-Swilling lives in New Orleans, La. in the heart of LSU territory, his academic ambitions might lead him to commit to Georgia Tech.

Listed as one of the No. 6 ranked 2017 recruit in the state of Louisiana, Jordan-Swilling is listed as a running back and an outside linebacker by 247 Sports.

Jordan-Swilling, the son of Georgia Tech All-American and College Football Hall of Famer Pat Swilling, is currently entering his senior season at running back for Brother Martin High School.

Although predicted by several experts to commit to a tempting in-state LSU, Georgia Tech academically could pull Jordan-Swilling.

In Jordan-Swilling's highlight and introduction video on his Scout.com page, he mentions after playing football, he aspires to be a mechanical engineer. With the academic reputation of Georgia Tech and variety of engineering programs it offers, the Yellow Jackets could draw Jordan-Swilling to Atlanta.

“The thing I love about football is contact,” Jordan-Swilling said in his introduction video. “My favorite play is running over people.”

According to his 2016 season highlight reel, Jordan-Swilling scored 35 touchdowns and ran for over 2000 yards. At 6-feet and 215 pounds, his reel is filled with runs through and over linemen and defensive backs.

Jordan-Swilling is also considering Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Georgia, according to 247 Sports.
