Braves to host annual Alumni weekend during Braves, Marlins series
The Atlanta Braves will welcome Braves Legends to SunTrust Park for the 8th annual Alumni Weekend for the Braves series against the Miami Marlins this weekend.
On Friday from 6 p.m - 7 p.m., Braves fans can receive autographs from Braves Legends including Bobby Cox and Andruw Jones at stations set up by entrances to SunTrust Park. First pitch for Friday’s game is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. For a full list of Legends available for autographs and photos, check the list below.
On Saturday, the Braves will hold a Braves Legends Parade down Battery Avenue at 4:30 p.m. before SunTrust Park gates open for first pitch at 7:10 p.m. The parade will begin at the intersection of Battery Avenue and Circle 75 Parkway and end at Heritage Court. At 5:30 p.m., the Legends will be introduced on the field of SunTrust Park and participate in a Softball Home Run Derby. Legends Sid Bream, Marcus Giles,Wes Helms, Andruw Jones, Brian Jordan and Ryan Klesko will participate in the Softball Home Run Derby.
Before Sunday’s 1:35 p.m. first pitch, Legends will participate in Alumni Selfies on the Field where fans have the opportunity to take selfies with their favorite former Braves. The event will be held from 11:30 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. For a full list of the Braves Legends available for Selfies on the Field, check the list below.
