Both Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder said Monday that will not compete in the Skills Challenge as part of NBA All-Star Weekend later this month in Toronto.

Both Hawks point guards took part in the competition last year in New York. They were both in New York – Teague to play in his first All-Star Game and Schroder to compete in the Rising Stars Challenge for rookie and sophomore players. Schroder said he will be in Germany during the all-star break.

In addition, Kyle Korver said he will not compete in the 3-point shooting contest as he did last year.

The Hawks play at the Bulls on Feb. 10 before the league takes off for the exhibition. There next game is at home against the Heat on Feb. 19.

The Hawks had a large contingent at All-Star Weekend last year with Teague, Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Kyle Korver playing for the Eastern Conference, which was coached by Mike Budenholzer and his staff.
