The Hawks will be without Tiago Splitter for Wednesday’s game at the 76ers, the second straight game the reserve center has missed due to a nagging right hip injury.

Splitter was listed as out on the Hawks injury report issued Tuesday.

According to Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer, the team has been managing the injury for some time this season. Splitter also missed Monday’s win over the Mavericks. Mike Muscala played the bulk of Splitter’s minutes against the Mavericks and figures to do so again against the 76ers.

Splitter missed seven games earlier this season due to the hip. He also missed four games with a mild right calf strain. He has appeared in 36 games this season and averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 16.1 minutes.
