Thabo Sefolosha said he experienced some pain in his right leg but called it part of the rehabilitation process following Wednesday's training camp practice.
“It’s a process,” Sefolosha said. “It’s painful, a little bit. I’m making progress. I knew it was going to be like that. It’s nothing surprising. It’s just going to take time.”
Sefolosha underwent surgery to repair a broken right fibula and ligament damage suffered in April. He was been cleared for basketball activities, including 5-on-5 scrimmage. He said he dialed back his workout Wednesday.
“Just being cautious and not to irritate it,” Sefolosha said.

* Arsalan Kazemi knows it's a long shot to make the Hawks. But if there is a chance the forward is going to take it.
“As long as I have a half of a percent chance I will go all out for it,” Kazemi said.
Kazemi was a late addition to the Hawks training camp roster, filling the final 20th spot after he and the 76ers mutually agreed to rescind his tender. Kazemi, from Iran, admitted to a stressful few hours as the deals were being worked out.
Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said the addition of Kazemi gives the Hawks an eight big to work with in camp.
“He is a young guy and between Oregon and some of his international (play) our scouts have seen him and liked him,” Budenholzer said. “They felt like he would be a good fit and someone we’d like to learn more about. It’s good to have another big in camp to make sure we are using everybody to the best and most efficient ways.”
* Budenholzer’s trial date, posted as Oct. 8 by the Fulton County State Court, has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. The case has been continued to a later date.
Budenholzer faces two misdemeanor charges following an arrest in Aug. 2013. The case will be heard in Fulton County State Court by Judge Diane E. Bessen.
* Several Hawks owners attended the Hawks' morning practice at the University of Georgia, including principle owner Tony Ressler. Also in attendance were Rick Schnall and Jessie Itzler.
