Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder will take part in the NBA Africa Game 2017 as rosters for the exhibition games were announced Thursday.

The second edition of the game will be played in Johannesburg, South Africa on Aug. 5 and feature Team Africa versus Team World. The game is played in conjunction with the NBA and the NBA Players Association and support UNICEF, the Nelson Mandela Foundation and SOS Children’s Villages South Africa.

Team Africa will consist of players born in Africa and second-generation African. Luol Deng and former Hawks player Thabo Sefolosha will be captains. They will be joined by Bismack Biyombo, Clint Capela, Gorgui Deng, Joel Embiid, Serge Ibaka, Luc Mhah a Moute, Salah Mejri, Emmanuel Mudiay, Victor Oladipo and Schroder.

Team World will be captained by Dirk Nowitzki and Kemba Walker. They will be joined by Leandro Barbosa, Jaylen Brown, Wilson Chandler, DeMarcus Cousins, Andre Drummond, Courtney Lee, Kyle Lowry, CJ McCollum and Kristaps Porzingis.

Several NBA head coaches and assistant coaches, trainers, front-office personnel and referees will also take part in the game.

NBPA Executive Director Michele Roberts and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will attend the game along with NBA Global Ambassador and former Hawks player Dikembe Mutombo. Former Hawks players Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Elton Brand will be among others scheduled to be in attendance.
