Hawks rookie Adreian Payne had 18 points and nine rebounds for Austin in an NBA Development League assignment game win over Rio Grande Valley Sunday.

Austin won their 10th straight game with a 139-128 victory. Payne came off the bench and was 7 of 12 from the field in 31 minutes.

Payne has made three D-League assignments. He has played five games with Austin on his current assignment and averaged 13.2 points and 6.8 rebounds. In 10 games, including his stints with Fort Wayne, the first-round pick is averaging 12.9 points and 8.8 rebounds.

Austin next plays at Sioux Falls Saturday.
