The NBA cited one incorrect call and one incorrect non-call in the final two minutes of the Hawks’ 95-87 victory over the Raptors Thursday night. Both missed calls benefitted the Hawks and ultimately had no impact on the result.

In its Last Two Minutes report issued Friday, the review of the game found that:

* The Raptors’ Cory Joseph did not foul the Hawks’ Jeff Teague on his scored layup with 48 seconds remaining. The additional point from Teague’s made free throw gave the Hawks a 91-86 lead. According to the report, “Joseph (TOR) maintains legal guarding position and makes incidental contact with Teague (ATL) that does not affect his driving shot attempt.”

* The Hawks’ Paul Millsap should have been called for a personal foul for contact with the Raptors’ Kyle Lowry who was setting a screen with 47 seconds left. The Raptors were in the bonus at the time of the foul. According to the report, “Millsap (ATL) runs through the legal screen set by Lowry (TOR).” The Raptors possession ended with a DeMar DeRozan missed layup.

The report stood by the on-court decision for a jump ball when the Hawks’ Thabo Sefololsha and the Raptors’ Jonas Valanciunas battle for a loose ball with 38 seconds remaining and the Hawks still leading by five points. According to the report, “After communicating with the Replay Center, there was no conclusive video evidence to overturn the ruling on the court that the ball was touched simultaneously prior to going out of bounds. The ruling on the court of a jump ball would stand.”

The NBA conducts a review and issues a report for officiated events in games within five points as the two-minute mark or that go into overtime.
