UPDATE: Mike Muscala returned from his one-game D-League assignment, as expected, Monday. He walked onto the Hawks practice court Monday afternoon after most of the players had left following the workout.
Hawks center Mike Muscala had five points and eight rebounds in an NBA Development League assignment game for Fort Wayne Sunday.
Muscala was assigned to the D-League Saturday in what is expected to be a one-game stint with the Mad Ants. He will likely return for Tuesday’s game against Houston.
Muscala was 2 of 8 from the field in 30 minutes for Fort Wayne in a 122-118 overtime loss to Sioux Falls. He also had two assists.
