Dwight Howard left Tuesday’s game against the Cavaliers when he suffered a cut on the left side of his upper lip. The cut required four stitches.

The Hawks center left the game with 6:46 left in the first quarter. He went to the locker room after the game was stopped because he was bleeding.

He returned to the bench with 8:37 left in the second quarter and immediately re-entered the game.
