* The Hawks had six double-digit scorers with Dennis Schroder (23), Paul Millsap (17), Kyle Korver (15), Tim Hardaway Jr. (14), Al Horford (13) and Mike Scott (10).

Offense: A

The Hawks took a lot of 3-pointers, half their field goal total, but most were good looks. They made 17 of the 42 attempts. After a 22-point first quarter, the Hawks went for 30, 29 and 41 in the next three. They shot 53.6 percent from the field shots but the Hawks. The 25-5 run to blow open the game was impressive.

Defense: A-minus

The Hawks limited the Wizards to 45 second-half points. Thabo Sefolosha was excellent in guarding both John Wall and Bradley Beal. The Wizards’ starting backcourt combined for 20 points two nights after going for 52. The Hawks forced the Wizards into 18 turnovers. Korver said the Hawks used five or six defensive coverages.
