Even after winning two games in a row the Hawks have a chance to finish tied for second in the draft lottery standings.

The Hawks (24-57) followed their victory at the Wizards on Friday with a win at Boston on Sunday. Later Sunday afternoon the Grizzlies (22-58) beat the Pistons.

The Hawks would tie for second in the lottery standings if they lose their finale on Tuesday against the Sixers and the Grizzlies win their final two games (at Minnesota and at Oklahoma City). The Mavericks (24-57) lost on Sunday to also remain in contention to finish tied with the Grizzlies.

The Suns (20-60) are assured of finishing in at least a tie for the league’s worst record. If there are no ties, the team with the worst record will have a 25 percent chance of winning the No 1 pick and will select no later than fourth.

The team with the second-worst record (no ties) will have about a 20 percent chance of winning the lottery and will pick no later than fifth. The team with the third-worst record (no ties) will have a roughly 16 percent chance to win the lottery and pick no later than sixth.

The Hawks will have at least one other first-round pick, No. 30 overall (via the Rockets). They also will own Minnesota’s first-round pick if the Timberwolves qualify for the playoffs. The Timberwolves (45-35) will clinch a postseason berth if they win their final two games (home vs. Grizzlies on Monday and vs. Nuggets on Wednesday).
