The Hawks announced that they signed forward Paul Watson to a 10-day contract on Monday.

With the Raptors’ G League affiliate, Raptors 905, Watson started all 13 games this season and averaged 18.4 points, 7.4 rebounds 1.4 assists in 34.3 minutes per game. Watson, who averaged 11.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game as a senior at Fresno State), was with the G League’s Westchester Knicks for two seasons prior to play for Raptors 905.

The Hawks play five games in the 10-day window, starting with tonight’s game against the Nuggets. The Hawks can sign Watson to a second 10-day contract. After that, they must sign him for the remainder of the season or release him.
