The Hawks recalled Omari Spellman from the NBA G League on Sunday. The rookie forward played three games for the Erie BayHawks in the assignment.

In the three G League games, all starts, Spellman averaged 16.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 blocks in 32.7 minutes.

Prior to the assignment, Spellman appeared in 23 games, including eight starts, for the Hawks. He averaged 6.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 17.7 minutes.

The move comes as the Hawks host the Heat on Sunday.
