How the game was won: The Hawks built a 15-point lead and held off the Bulls at the United Center Saturday night. Kyle Korver had 24 points, including seven 3-pointers. Al Horford had 22 points as the Hawks won their 12th straight, overall and on the road, and 26th out of 28. Jeff Teague had 17 points and Paul Millsap added 16 points.

Turning point: The Bulls pulled to within seven points, 76-69, early in the fourth quarter. Kyle Korver converted a four-point play, after he was fouled making his seventh 3-pointer.

Number: 26.3. Bulls shooting percentage (5 of 19) in the first quarter as the Hawks led by as many as nine points in the opening period.

Next: The Hawks return home after a four-game road trip to host the Pistons Monday in a Martin Luther King Day matinee.
