Eastern Conference Playoff Picture: Celtics slip to sixth, Cavs clinch

The Celtics slipped to sixth in the Eastern Conference with a loss to the Raptors Friday night. The Raptors kept pace with the Cavaliers, who clinched a playoff spot, and remain two games out of the top spot in the conference.

The Hawks were idle Friday and they host the Rockets Saturday. Their magic number to clinch a playoff spot remains nine.

The other key games involving the Eastern Conference Saturday are: Nuggets at Hornets, Nets at Pistons, Thunder at Pacers, Knicks at Wizards, Cavaliers at Heat and Jazz at Bulls.
