For her 90th birthday, Illuminada Magtoto, better known as Grandma Nelly, had a very specific wish: She wanted to play basketball with Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade.
She even recorded a home video to prove her point, showing her making a basket on her backyard basketball hoop.
Grandma Nelly got her wish and the recorded meeting is quickly going viral.
Wade welcomed Grandma Nelly to the Miami Heat practice facility with a big hug. Then they hit the court. The spunky elderly woman tossed some shots into the air, which Wade completed for her.
As they finished up their session, Wade kissed Grandma Nelly’s hand. She was delighted.
It appears Grandma Nelly is not the only one who enjoyed the moment. Wade said at the end of the fan encounter that it is something they will both remember for a long time.
