The Atlanta Dream have re-signed guard Matee Ajavon. 
Ajavon spent her first season in Atlanta last year, and played in 24 games during an injury-plagued season, averaging 2.2 points and 0.8 rebounds per game.

Ajavon  has averaged 8.2 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in a seven-year career in the WNBA. Her best season came in 2011 with Washington, when she averaged 14.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per contest.

She recently completed a season playing for Maranhão Basquete in Brazil, averaging 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

The three-time Eastern Conference Champion Atlanta Dream open the season  June 5 at New York. The home opener against the Connecticut Sun is slated for 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7.
